Horror fans, rejoice. This summer, Rue Morgue magazine is launching its very own horror culture and entertainment expo in Hamilton. Dubbed Dark Carnival, the event runs from July 9 to 10, and it certainly lives up to its name.

For their inaugural expo, organizers have booked some seriously impressive special guests. These include legendary directors Guillermo del Toro (HellboyPan's Labyrinth) and George A. Romero (Night of the Living DeadDay of the Dead).

Other guests include Bill Moseley (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Sherman Howard (Day of the Dead) and Mitch Markowitz (The Hilarious House of Frightenstein).

Further, cult film studio Troma Entertainment will have a presence at the fest. There will also be an appearance from WolfCop and a performance from the occult rock band Blood Ceremony.

That's just scratching the surface, really. To learn more about Dark Carnival, visit the event's website here
