'Gotti' Tries to Spin Zero-Percent Rotten Tomatoes Score into Marketing Win

Despite the promise of a director credit from the guy that played Eric on Entourage, 2018 John Travolta as its lead and an original song from Pitbull, the movie Gotti is not doing so well. In fact, it achieved a stunning zero-percent score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

Rather than turn over and die, the film has attempted to double down on its shitty, shitty standing with critics. As such, they've launched a new ad campaign that suggests movie critics are simply trolls hiding behind their keyboards.

While that may or may not be true, a number of reputable publications have panned the flick. The New York Times observed "just how multifaceted a dismal mess it is," while the New York Post's Johnny Olekinski wrote, "I'd rather wake up next to a severed horse head than ever watch Gotti again."

Watch the film attempt to off the critics with their own hitpiece below.
