With less than a week to go before the arrival of Master of None Season 3, Aziz Ansari is giving us a better idea of what to expect via a new behind-the-scenes featurette.

As the clip confirms, the third season of the Netflix series finds Ansari taking the backseat to Lena Waithe, with the new series — called Master of None Present: Moments in Love — centring on her character Denise and wife Alicia (played by Naomi Ackie).

Ansari directed all five episodes of the upcoming season, and he also co-wrote all the episodes alongside Waithe.

It's still unclear, however, if Ansari's character will get much if any real screen time. The same goes for past co-stars like Eric Wareheim and Alessandra Mastronard.

According to Netflix, "This new season is a modern love story that intimately illustrates the ups and downs of marriage, struggles with fertility, and personal growth both together and apart. Fleeting romantic highs meet crushing personal losses while existential questions of love and living are raised."

Ahead of the premiere on May 23, you can watch the behind-the-scene featurette below, where you can also revisit the official trailer.
