Fred Armisen and Bill Hader Released a Full Album from Their Talking Heads Parody Band Test Pattern
Published Oct 13, 2016Fred Armisen's musical comedy jokes rarely stay within the joke form, as the musician, actor and writer has launched a plethora of fictional bands over the years. Most recently, he and Bill Hader formed Test Pattern — a spoof Talking Heads project — for their IFC series Documentary Now! Before they air Test Pattern's send-up of the Talking Heads concert film Stop Making Sense, the pair have unleashed a full-length album.
They certainly haven't half-assed their fictional group, as Armisen and Hader have delivered a mammoth eight-song LP from the group.
The release is called Final Transmission, and includes the previously heard tracks like "Art + Student = Poor" as well as some other new goodies.
You can listen to Final Transmission in full below.
