After giving his Kraft Punk character get a spinoff special earlier this year, Eric Andre will now take his "Rapper Warrior Ninja" sketch from The Eric Andre Show to new heights as a standalone series.

Deadline reports that Andre's bit, which first appeared in the show's fourth season, will become a series on forthcoming streaming platform Quibi. Rapper Warrior Ninja will be executive produced by Andre and his Eric Andre Show director Kitao Sakurai. A concrete release date for the series was not given.

For the uninitiated, the initial sketch saw Danny Brown, A$AP Rocky, Open Mike Eagle and more try to make their way through a series of dangerous and disgusting obstacles while freestyling. You can watch the hilarity below.

Last week, it was announced that The Eric Andre Show had been renewed for a fifth season. Andre will also continue his "Legalize Everything" standup tour in December.

Andre has been active in the music world this year, releasing an album as Blarf and starring in the video for Freddie Gibbs and Madlib's "Half Manne Half Cocaine."

Next year, Andre will appear alongside Tiffany Haddish and Lil Rel Howery in prank film Bad Trip.
