Henry Thomas — the actor who starred as Elliott in Steven Spielberg's classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial — has been arrested for driving under the influence in Oregon.
The Associated Press reports that Thomas, 48, was booked into the Washington County Jail after being found Monday (October 21) in a stationary car.
Police say officers arrived, found Thomas and took him into custody after conducting a sobriety test. FOX 12 Oregon notes the actor was released this morning and is set to be arraigned November 1.
Thomas — who has also appeared in Gangs of New York, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit — starred in Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House last year.
