Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Says "Generation Snowflake" Is "Looking for a Reason to Be Offended"

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has long been everyone's favourite media guy for quite some time, but it looks as if there might be some cracks in his perfect persona. After all, in a recent interview he sounded a hell of a lot like a grumpy Fox News dad.

Speaking with the Daily Star, Johnson had commented on the controversy surrounding Kevin Hart's recently resurfaced homophobic jokes. He then launched into a tirade about... sigh... "generation snowflake."

UPDATE (1/12, 4 p.m. EST): Johnson has spoken out to say that these interview quotes are "100 percent fabricated." Read his response here.

"So many good people fought for freedom and equality — but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended," Johnson said. "If you are not agreeing with them then they are offended — and that is not what so many great men and women fought for."

Johnson continued: "We thankfully now live in a world that has progressed over the last 30 or 40 years. People can be who they want, be with who they want, and live how they want. That can only be a good thing — but generation snowflake, or whatever you want to call them, are actually putting us backwards."

So there you have it! Dwayne Johnson talks like a neocon AM radio talk show host now.
