Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. is facing some serious allegations after 14 women have come forward to accuse him of inappropriate sexual behaviour that took place in a wide variety of bars and nightclubs.

The actor appeared in a Manhattan court earlier today on four misdemeanour counts of forcible touching and third degree sexual abuse.

On June 9, Gooding had previously been charged with grabbing a woman's breast at a nightclub. A grand jury indicted him on two charges last week, as well as two charges from a separate incident where he allegedly pinched a woman's buttocks at a separate club.

According to Variety, however, that was just the tip of the iceberg. Prosecutors intend to call an additional 12 women to testify in support of those charges. He has been accused of kissing, pinching, biting or groping women who he did not know in a variety of different locations.

"Defendant's past behavior shows that he routinely approaches women while at bars or nightclubs with whom he has limited or no prior interaction, and touches them inappropriately," assistant district attorney Jenna Long wrote.

Cuba Gooding Jr. plead not guilty to all of the charges and is due back in court on December 13.
