Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile released their joint album Lotta Sea Lice last year, and now the dynamic duo have appeared together in a new documentary dubbed Friends of Wonder.
The film focuses on Loew's Jersey Theatre in Jersey City, detailing the venue's history and restoration. Barnett and Vile performed there last fall, and footage from that show made its way into the final film. There are also interview clips with the pair, as well as with concert promoters, sound engineers and volunteers.
The doc was directed by Irene Chin and Kurt Vincent, and released via WeTransfer and Matador Records.
