Riverdale actors Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart have been together both on- and off-screen for almost two years, and they seem to be downplaying recent rumours of their breakup.
Page Six reported earlier this week that the couple had split — something their co-star Mark Consuelos apparently had "no idea" about.
In fact, the pair did split, but it seems that Sprouse and Reinhart are still on pretty good terms, as they responded to the tabloid rumours with matching Instagram posts.
Both actors shared a vampire-esque W cover photo of themselves — their breakup is confirmed in the accompanying article — and took a bite out of the tabloids in the captions.
Sprouse wrote: "UNPRECEDENTED: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart consume the flesh of 'reliable sources' to fuel their bacchanalian sex cult."
Reinheart, meanwhile, opted for: "BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know shit."
