Attempting to bridge the divide between the left- and right-wing of politics is a near impossible task, but Captain America seems to think he's up to the challenge. Actor and director Chris Evans has announced he's starting a news website that will attempt to hear from "both sides" on every issue.
Over the weekend, Evans announced his new site called A Starting Point. In a video announcement, which you can watch below, he pleaded with representatives from both parties to participate in his project.
"It's a one-stop shop for simple digestible information from people who know best," Evans said in the video. "I want to make it clear that this website has nothing to do with my political opinion.... It's not about my political opinion. This is about yours. This is a chance for you to talk about issues that matter to you."
Perhaps proving things are not off to the best start, comments have been disabled on the video.
