Charlize Theron has already kicked some serious ass in movies like Atomic Blonde and Fate of the Furious, but she's got another action movie she wants to make. Following a tweet last year, Theron is eager to make her own lesbian version of Die Hard.
In December, a Twitter user said that they wanted to see a lesbian version of Die Hard where Charlize Theron "goes on a rampage to save her wife." Seemingly into the idea, Theron tweeted her support:

Speaking with Vanity Fair, Theron clarified that she really wasn't joking: she'd love to star in this movie.
"Yeah, I mean, it's a great idea," she said. "That's why I replied on Twitter. Because I just thought that was kind of brilliant. I was like, 'This person needs to start pitching. That's a great idea.' And the fact that it would be two women, I was like, 'Yeah, sign me on.'"
How a random Twitter user would get the access, expertise and intellectual property rights to create a Die Hard spinoff is not exactly clear. But maybe this will actually happen somehow.
