Hamilton, ON's own Arkells have gone about as international as it gets: the band's single "You Can Get It" — featuring K.Flay — from 2021's Blink Once has been given the torch treatment and tapped by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to soundtrack the closing ceremony film, highlighting key moments of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing.

Powered by Belief premiered at the closing ceremony on Sunday (February 20) to honour the athletes who came together from around the world to compete in a dazzling display of winter sports action. Zooming in on poignant emotional moments, the short film captures the resilience of the athletes and a highlight reel of the extraordinary skills displayed over the last two weeks.

The film is the latest instalment in the IOC's Stronger Together campaign, which champions the power that sports and the Olympic Games have to unite people and communities across the globe, amplifying their belief in solidarity across differences.

Arkells' "You Can Get It" is also featured on the Forza Horizon 5 video game soundtrack — its triumphant, electrifying, larger-than-life sound simply demands to underscore stiff competition, whether it's happening on the world stage or your couch.
