One of the most popular intersections of music and Halloween involves Michael Jackson and his iconic red "Thriller" outfit. This year, an animated MJ will see some screen time as part of a new special featuring the King of Pop's music this October.

As Variety reports, CBS will air a one-hour animated special titled Michael Jackson's Halloween this fall, featuring Jackson's music as the soundtrack. Produced by the Jackson estate's Optimum Productions, the cast includes voice acting from Christine Baranski, Kiersey Clemons, Alan Cumming, George Eads, Brad Garrett, Lucy Liu, Jim Parsons and Lucas Till.

The special will follow characters Vincent (Till) and Victoria (Clemons) who find themselves at a mysterious hotel on Halloween Night located at 777 Jackson Street. Upon entering the This Place Hotel, the two are sent on an adventure that is said to culminate in a dance finale featuring an animated MJ.

Michael Jackson's Halloween was directed by Mark A.Z. Dippé, while Daniel Chuba serves as producer. John Branca and John McClain, both co-executors of Jackson's estate, will serve as executive producers.
