The brief marriage between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has come to an end, and now allegations have surfaced that suggest their split was far from amicable. According to TMZ, Heard has filed for a restraining order against Depp after alleging that he assaulted her.

Heard claimed that Depp smashed a phone on her face during a domestic dispute. According to TMZ, Depp then offered to pay her money to keep quiet about the assault, but she filed for divorce on Monday (May 23) instead. In addition to the above photo of her injuries, Heard claims to have a video of Depp beating her.

TMZ reports that police offered to arrest Depp if Heard would give an official statement, but she denied to press charges. Now, however, a judge has granted Heard a temporary restraining order against Depp, who must stay 100 yards away from her until their hearing next month.

TMZ adds that Heard was denied sole custody of one of their pet dogs. She was also denied spousal support and ownership of the couple's Range Rover.

Depp released a statement through his spokesperson, saying, "Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life."

In a separate report, TMZ explains that the legal documents from Heard allege that Depp was high and drunk when he assaulted her. TMZ also says that sources from the LAPD suggested they did not see any injuries on Heard's face when they were called to the couple's apartment after the alleged dispute.
