Trevor Moore, a comedian, actor and one of the founders of the sketch group the Whitest Kids U' Know, has died. He was 41.

Moore died on Friday (August 6) due to an accident. The exact nature of this accident hasn't been made public. Moore's wife, Aimee Carlson, released a statement via Moore's manager. She said:

We are devastated by the loss of my husband, best friend and the father of our son. He was known as a writer and comedian to millions, and yet to us he was simply the center of our whole world. We don't know how we'll go on without him, but we're thankful for the memories we do have that will stay with us forever. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from everyone. This is a tragic and sudden loss and we ask that you please respect our privacy during this time of grieving.

Born in Montclair, NJ, and raised in Charlottesville, VA, Moore co-founded the Whitest Kids U' Know while attending New York's School of Visual Arts in 1999. They got their own show on IFC, which ran for five seasons from 2007 to 2011. They returned during coronavirus lockdowns, as Moore launched Trevor Moore's Quarantine Show and the group began streaming on Twitch.

Moore started out by publishing comics in his teens. He's the co-creator of the Disney Channel show Just Roll with It, which premiered in 2019, and the Disney XD series Walk the Prank, which ran from 2016 to 2019.

Moore is survived by Carlson and their son.
