Ricky Gervais and his glass of beer hosted the Golden Globes for the fifth and final time last night (January 5), and now he's returning his focus to his own stand-up. The British comedian will take his "SuperNature" show on a world tour later this year, including a couple of Canadian stops.

Gervais previously announced shows in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles, and now he's added two Canadian dates — in Toronto on August 21 at Meridian Hall and in Vancouver on August 26 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

UPDATE (1/10, 1:25 EST): Gervais has now added a second Vancouver show due to overwhelming demand. The added performance will take place on August 27, and tickets are on sale now.

Tickets for Canadian dates go on sale this Friday (January 10) at 10 a.m. local time.
