Nathan Fielder is teaming back up with HBO for a new series. Today it was announced that the Vancouver comedian will return with a new half-hour comedy series called The Rehearsal.
Fielder is writing, directing, starring in and exec producing the series, and according to Deadline, "The series is set in a world where nothing seems to ever work out as you had hoped, Nathan Fielder gives people the opportunity to rehearse for their own lives."
However, as the publication points out, it's unclear whether the upcoming show will be scripted or more like Nathan for You or How To with John Wilson, which Fielder executive produced.
The Rehearsal marks the latest of several Fielder projects, including the upcoming Showtime series The Curse. In addition to Fielder, that show will star Emma Stone and is coming at the hands of Uncut Gems directors Josh and Benny Safdie.
So far, like The Rehearsal, The Curse has not got a firm release release date.
