Noted sports enthusiast and Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones secured herself Olympics super-fan status during the 2016 summer games in Rio, and now she's been enlisted to report on the athletic events next month in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
She has been confirmed as a contributor to NBC's Olympic coverage team, and will travel to Korea to meet and interview athletes.
Jones has already started delivering quality Olympic content, sharing a video that captures her training for the ski hills while decked out in stars and stripes.
"Experiencing the Olympics through the lens of Leslie is unlike anything else," NBC Olympics production and programming president Jim Bell said in a statement. "Her passion for Team USA is contagious, and her adventures in South Korea should be fascinating."
The 2018 Winter Olympics are slated to kick off with the Opening Ceremonies on February 9 and will wrap up with the Closing Ceremonies on February 25.
