Legendary Canadian comedy troupe Kids in the Hall have never fully disappeared, constantly putting in the work for regular reunion shows. Fans of their unique brand of comedy are in for some even better news, however, as they're reportedly talking about a new season of the show.

Speaking with News Press [via Consequence of Sound], the crew's Kevin McDonald revealed that producer Lorne Michaels has been talking to the group about creating six new episodes of the show.

"You're the first guy to know this," McDonald said. "Last night, before I got on the plane, we got a Kids in the Hall group message to all of us. Lorne Michaels wants us to do what Mr. Show did, and do like six episodes of sketches for something like Netflix."

He added that "there's no one against" the idea of making more episodes, though it's still incredibly early in the planning process. "And I'll try to get it going, because I'm the one who's supposed to get it going," he continued.
