Blame it on their occasional unwillingness to acknowledge other sketch shows or their iffy race relations in the past — no matter how you look at it, it seems crazy that Saturday Night Live has never let comedy royalty Dave Chappelle host the show. That's all set to change next week.
Chappelle will host the show on November 12. As if that weren't enough, as previously rumoured, the musical guest will be the recently reinvigorated A Tribe Called Quest, whose We Got It from Here, Thank You for Your Service arrive on November 11.
Of course, it's hard to know whether or not Chappelle will dig into some of his beloved Chappelle Show characters. Particularly since the American election will still be fresh in everyone's minds.
