Last week, the music world was saddened to learn that Women guitarist Christopher Reimer died in his sleep at the young age of 26. At the time of his death, it was not immediately clear how the musician died, but now Women's Canadian label Flemish Eye has confirmed he passed away due to complications related to a heart condition.
The label also points to Reimer's upcoming funeral service, which will take place in Calgary tomorrow (February 29) at 7 p.m. MST at the Knox United Church (506 - 4th Street SW). You can get the full details of the service here.
As Pitchfork reports, Reimer's family aims to set up a fund in his honour, with the details to be revealed via the musician's memorial site.
