We recently learned that Vancouver-based pop unit the Zolas set a firm date of October 2 to launch their latest LP, Ancient Mars. That same day, we found out that the band would eventually be teaming up with Hey Ocean! to rove Canada's club circuit. The band have now confirmed the dates.
As it turns out, the Zolas are playing on shows that Hey Ocean! had previously announced earlier this summer, but apparently not the whole tour. They'll skip out on the trek that takes Hey Ocean! from BC out to Ontario, and link up with the outfit September 29 in Kingston, ON. From there, they'll head to the Maritimes and then back towards Ontario and Quebec .
The Zolas have promised that this is the first leg of many in support of Ancient Mars, and West Coast dates are expected to drop sometime soon.
