Published Aug 06, 2013Zola Jesus' upcoming album, Versions, features new arrangements of old material that were created with industrial/no wave producer JG Thirlwell (a.k.a. Foetus) for a prior performance at New York, NY's Guggenheim Museum. Now, a video for one of those live cuts, "Avalanche (Slow)," has emerged.
In this low-key clip, we see Zola Jesus dressed in a peculiarly glowing all-white outfit. She sings in the gallery while accompanied by a string ensemble, who provide solemn accompaniment for the singer's ethereal vocals.
Versions is out on August 20 through Sacred Bones.
