Harvest Moon Festival
Harvest Moon Festival in Manitoba has a few excellent ideas regarding how to celebrate the arrival of autumn. Three days of camping, bonfires, workshops and local food will be made memorable by an artist line-up that includes Royal Canoe, Ridley Bent, Del Barber, Jess Reimer, Heartbeat City, Les Jupes, Shotgun Jimmie and many more.

Montreal Psych Fest
A treat for both your mind and your ears, the third annual Montreal Psych Fest looks to deliver three days of psychedelic music in all its forms. Highlighting a wide range of local acts such as Red Mass, the High Dials, and Les Marinellis, the festival line-up serves as an excellent look into Montreal's flourishing psych and garage rock scene.

MRCY Block Party
For one night only in Laval, Quebec, this year's MRCY Block Party has an impressive line-up from start to finish. Catch sets from Metric, Neutral Milk Hotel, Death From Above 1979, the Barr Brothers, Sky Ferreira, Thus Owls and Caravane, with the non-stop music starting in the mid-afternoon.

Muskoka Sound Festival
A stellar offering of live music will surely complement the beautiful scenery of Ontario's Muskoka region at this year's Muskoka Sound Festival. Over three days, one can witness the work of Mother Mother, Skydiggers, Yukon Blonde, Monster Truck, Buck 65, Shad, Hawksley Workman and much more across two stages.

Held over four days in a variety of different venues in Victoria, Rifflandia boasts an incredibly deep and diverse line-up of old and new flavours. A number of CanCon standards such as Serena Ryder, the New Pornographers and Dragonette sit high in the line-up, while a strong hip-hop presence is made notable by the likes of Danny Brown, Hilltop Hoods, Del the Funky Homosapien, Kool Keith and RatKing. Those names only scratch the surface in terms of all that Rifflandia has to offer those in attendance.

It has often been said that the best things in life are free, and this year's Supercrawl line-up deserves to be placed among those things. On Hamilton's James Street North, you'll catch performances from A Tribe Called Red, Arkells, Four Tet, How to Dress Well, Bry Webb, Charles Bradley and a lot more. Four days of free performances such as those should prove very hard to pass up.

With a new album in tow, Zeus are ready to take their vintage-inspired sound on the road for a North American tour. Kicking things off in Portland, Oregon on September 10, they find themselves in beautiful British Columbia for a pair of dates on September 13 at Electric Owl and September 14 at the aforementioned Rifflandia festival in Victoria. There is no better time to catch a set that will surely be filled with the recently released material.
