Zeds Dead Ready "2 Night Stand Tour," Premiere New Single

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 8, 2015

Though Toronto EDM duo Zeds Dead are generally dropping the beat for crowds of thousands, the pair have revealed that they'll be capping their 2015 with a series of intimate club dates.

The group have scheduled a series of two-night stands around North America this fall, which they'll use to premiere material from their upcoming debut LP. Appropriately enough, the trek is being called the "2 Night Stand Tour." Though the bulk of the performances have been booked in the U.S., there will be a tour-closing two-nighter taking place in Toronto on December 18 and 19.

Considering the larger crowds the outfit plays to these days, it's said that this upcoming small-scale trip is a look back at the band's beginnings, as well as "an homage to the rooms many of the biggest acts in rock played when they were young, the same acts the duo remixed and sampled and were influenced by in their early years."

Few details have been revealed behind Zeds Dead's upcoming album, but the full-length is expected to be issued sometime in 2016. The pair have, however, just debuted a new tune that features rapper Murs, which is called "One Time." You can stream that cut beneath the tour info.
