Zedd Shows His 'True Colors' on New Album

During South by Southwest last month, EDM star Zedd launched a campaign called #ZeddTrueColors, in which he has been premiering new material at colour-themed parties. Now, the beatmaker has officially announced his forthcoming sophomore album.

As fans probably figured out from the campaign, the album is called True Colors. It's due out on May 19 through Interscope Records/Universal Music Canada. Every track is associated with its own colour.

The album features the Selena Gomez-assisted single "I Want You to Know," which was written and produced by Zedd along with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder. Zedd co-wrote all of the songs on True Colors and served as his own executive producer.

Below, watch the video for "I Want You to Know" plus clips documenting the recent events in Austin and Los Angeles.

Zedd will tour in support of the album this fall, with details to be announced soon. He's already been confirmed as one of the headliners of Toronto's Digital Dreams festival in June.
