Just two shows into Rage Against the Machine's long-delayed reunion tour, singer Zack de la Rocha appears to be injured. Last night (July 11) in Chicago, he performed most of the set while seated and was carried off stage.

The injury occurred just four songs into the show at the United Center, reports Consequence. He was helped off stage by crew members and, following a pause, returned and performed the rest of the show while seated on a monitor. When he briefly stood up, he appeared unable to put any weight on his leg.

"I don't know what happened to my leg right now," the vocalist said. "Straight up, but you know what? We're gonna keep this fucking shit going. I can crawl across this stage. We're gonna play for you all tonight."

At the end of the show, de la Rocha hugged each of his bandmates before being carried off stage by crew members.

Below, see footage of the incident. This is RATM's second show of the tour; at the first, they called to "abort the supreme court." See their tour schedule here; they are due to play Hamilton and Toronto next week, followed by Western Canada next year.
