Back in 2010, we praised Saskatoon, SK-based songwriter Zachary Lucky for his album Come & Gone, which we called "striking and beautifully crafted." Now, he's ready to put out a follow-up EP called Saskatchewan, a release that Lucky calls "a short collection of songs about Saskatchewan -- both figuratively and metaphorically. " To give you an idea what's in store with the new release, due out March 6, we have a preview in the form of the track "Back in the Fall."
The downtempo track features a sparse arrangement of acoustic guitar, pedal steel and banjo, which helps to highly Lucky's sweetly soulful voice and poignant lyrics.
