BC retro rock enthusiasts Yukon Blonde have been on the road in support of their Fire//Water EP since the end of September, but considering the massive list of 2012 concert dates the group just revealed, it looks as if they have no intention of kicking back and relaxing anytime soon.
The 2011 leg of their trip wraps up in Los Angeles on December 23, but the boys hop out to Australia for a handful of gigs just after Christmas. The crew crosses Europe for most of February before heading out on another extensive, Canada-heavy North American tour, which will have them heading out to Prince Edward Island and back. While there's still no exact word on when Yukon Blonde will deliver their allegedly punk-inspired sophomore album, the band will be promoting a new seven-inch featuring "Stairway." While the A-side will also be featured on the as-yet-untitled LP, the flip features an exclusive, home-recorded demo version of "Radio." The studio version of that track will arrive on the new album when it arrives sometime next spring.
"Stairway"/"Radio" arrives January 31 via Dine Alone Records.
