Published Jan 24, 2014After issuing material from the likes of The xx and Sampha, the Young Turks label has announced it is expanding its empire to include a new offshoot imprint called Whities.
The side-label is being handled by UK music programmer/DJ Nic Tasker (Boiler Room), and the first release will be a 12-inch single from London/Milano-based dance duo Terron. The pair's debut offering, "Nº 3 Proportion"/ "Nº 17 Governing," hits stores February 17 and can be pre-ordered here.
The record arrives in a limited pressing of 300 copies. Judging by the art, which you can see up above, it's possible future releases from the label will also be delivered in the same record sleeve, which features "WHITIES" embossed at the top of the package. Future releases, however, have yet to be detailed.
Down below, you'll find a stream of Terron's slow-burning, house-styled "Nº 3 Proportion."
