Young Thug was having a pretty good year thanks to the release of Jeffery (which even garnered a spot on Exclaim!'s Top 15 Hip-Hop Albums of 2016), but the rapper is capping it off on a rather sour note.
According to TMZ, he was arrested at an Atlanta shopping mall last night (December 22). He wasn't the cops' intended target, but while they were investigating a stolen vehicle report, they encountered Young Thug and arrested him on a previous warrant.
The warrant was issued after the rapper missed a recent court date in relation to excessively tinted car windows. He was booked, then released after posting a $500 US bond.
There's no word yet on whether he's finished his Christmas shopping yet, though.
