After being arrested for felony drug charges earlier this week, Young Thug has been released from jail on bond.

Pitchfork reports that public records confirm Thug (born Jeffery Lamar Williams) was bonded out yesterday evening (September 13). Thug's partner and collaborator, Jerrika Karlae, also wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post that "THE GOAT IS FREE."

Last week, it was revealed that the rapper was hit with eight felony charges, which included possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone and marijuana.

Those charges stem from an arrest made over a year ago in Brookhaven, GA, when Thug was pulled over for having an illegally tinted window. Police then reportedly found 2.5 ounces of marijuana, $50,000 in cash and additional drugs inside the vehicle.

Thug was booked into Georgia's DeKalb County Jail on September 11 after turning himself in to authorities. Pitchfork reports that arraignment is scheduled for November 8, per public records.

Young Thug had also been arrested last month on a felony gun charge in Los Angeles at a release party for his recent Slime Language compilation. He has also recently been teasing a new album titled On the Rvn on social media.
