Young Thug's career is on the climb, but the buzzed-about Atlanta rapper still isn't above the law, and he apparently got arrested late last night (February 25).
TMZ reports that the MC was pulled over in his hometown for driving in a zig-zag motion, which is referred to as "laying drags." He allegedly wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time.
The cops reportedly ran his licence and discovered an outstanding warrant for drug possession, resulting in his arrest. Complex points out that Young Thug has been charged with "possession of a schedule IV controlled substance" and "reckless conduct," in addition to the aforementioned driving infractions.
Schedule IV controlled substances are classified as medical drugs with a relatively low potential for abuse, compared with other addictive substances.
Reports have been swirling that Young Thug recently signed to Cash Money Records, and the rapper apparently confirmed the deal, but the signing has yet to be officially announced. XXL reports that nothing is official as of yet.
