Avert your eyes, Lil Wayne! Weezy's recent rival Young Thug has a new album coming out later this summer, but for now he's continuing to rep his Barter 6 mixtape with a video for "Halftime."
The clip was directed by Young Thug himself, and it brings the lyrics about drugged-out intoxication to life. As the the rapper delivers croaking rhymes for the camera while accompanied by an atmospheric beat, we see the man himself sounded by his crew while the camera shakes and bobbles disorientingly. He's quite goofy and hyperactively expressive, which might be funny were it not for the presence of a gun in a couple of shots, and some brief moments of warped blurriness that make the whole thing seem like a bad trip.
