"First Up" / "Calling Your Name" / "LIKE" / "Paradise"

Young Thug had planned to release a new mixtape called Slime Season today (July 4), and while that didn't come to pass, we've now got a few new tracks from the Lil Wayne-baiting rapper to tide us over.

First up is, uh, "First Up." It features a beat that pairs solemn piano playing with a rat-tatting drum-machine. It begins with a verse from Thugger, and the final two-thirds of the track consists of a lengthy instrumental outro.

"Calling Your Name," other the hand, features a pitch-raised chipmunk soul over which Young Thug delivers a jittery mix of hyperactive rapping and scratchy-voiced singing.

Finally, "LIKE" is a slightly mellower track on which Thug delivers some graphical sexual rhymes before handing the mic over to featured guests Trae the Truth and Skeme.

Hear all three songs below, and stay tuned for Slime Season to arrive before long. Also, the rapper's album Hy!£UN35 is expected out on August 28 through 300 Entertainment. And as if all that wasn't enough, Thugger has been tweeting about the imminent release of songs called "Again" and "Paradise."

Update: Sure enough, Young Thug has now released "Paradise." Hear it below.
