Hamilton's Young Rival have described the sound of their new album Interior Light as "Sinatra dropping acid with Deerhunter," and we can now get another taste of what this sounds like thanks to the freshly unveiled track "That's Chemistry."
The song is a perky pop ditty with cheery harmonies and an clean-cut, wholesome sound that recalls the sweetness of classic '60s pop. A hint of psychedelia, meanwhile, emerges in the wobbly tone of the lead guitar lines.
