Along with records from No Warning, Fucked Up and the Bitters, Ben Cook has amassed a prolific output with his always-evolving Young Governor project. It looks as if the act has gone through some more changes for an upcoming twelve-inch, and has now been branded Young Guv & the Scuzz.
Set to be released sometime soon on Southpaw Records, the record's first number to drop is the jangle-heavy "Heal Over Time." The power pop anthem blends six-strings both fuzzy and warbly with Cook's darling vocal harmonies, while bendy guitar leads blast in and out of speakers throughout the tune.
