Last week, Montreal's Young Galaxy uncovered a few details about their new Dan Lissvik-produced LP, Ultramarine, though new music was only teased in a mini-trailer. The oscillated keyboard whirr that figured in that commercial has now been revealed as the intro to album opener "Pretty Boy," and you can catch the song in full now.
The song fits along with the icy tableaux the band created on 2011's Shapeshifting, and builds up slowly on a bed of synths and softly sung lines tracking the evolution of a relationship. You can stream the story-based song down below, and gear up for "Pretty Boy" to be released, along with a remix, on February 5.
As previously reported, Ultramarine drops in full April 23 through Paper Bag Records.
