...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead Pair Up with Secret Machine and Future of the Left for Canada/U.S. Tour

After only a brief break from their European and East coast America summer tour, anthemic Texan rockers ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead  are set to hit the road again this fall. Starting in Houston and ending in Oklahoma City, the band will play tracks off their February release The Century of Self, their first new album since breaking free of the major-label confines of Interscope Records.

And while Trail of Dead are veteran tour-goers, the recording process of Century - their sixth studio album - apparently brought front-man Conrad Keely some major anxiety. In his studio diaries  posted on YouTube, Keely revealed his desire to abandon rock music and focus on writing but would first need to, "finish something I promised I would do - to make a classic record even if only for myself; one that would fulfill certain visions I dreamed up in my youth then I could move on." (Now whether Trail of Dead did in fact make a classic rock record with Century is definitely up for debate.)

Regardless, fans in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary can catch the Trail of the Dead on their 29-stop tour. Supporting for the first leg is fellow Texan rockers the Secret Machines  and for the second half Mclusky offshoot Future of the Left will fill the spot.
