You Say Party Revamp Lineup, Introduce Another New Drummer

Following the tragic loss of drummer Devon Clifford in April, Vancouver dance punks You Say Party! We Say Die! reinvented themselves as You Say Party, introducing two new members into the fold and announcing plans for a remix album and European tour. Now, the group have already had some lineup turnover once again, as they have parted ways with new drummer Bobby Siadat.

For the group's upcoming shows, Siadat (formerly of Gang Violence) will be replaced on drums by Vancouver multi-instrumentalist Al Boyle. Clifford and Boyle knew each other well, as they both played in the punk outfit Hard Feelings.

Whether or not Boyle is a permanent member of You Say Party is still unknown. What is certain is that he will be playing with the group when they return to the stage tomorrow (July 29) for a free show at Abbotsford, BC's Jubilee Park.

In other You Say Party news, the group recently filmed a video for the single/XXXX standout "Laura Palmer's Prom." The clip is reportedly a mini-movie based on the David Lynch drama Twin Peaks. Look for the video on Exclaim.ca soon.
