You Can Rent Albert Hammond Jr.'s NYC Apartment for $9,000 a Month

Turns out the Strokes guitarist is also a swanky landlord

Best known as the guitarist for the Strokes, Albert Hammond Jr. is also a low-key New York City landlord, and his fancy Manhattan apartment could be yours for $6,750 USD per month. In Canadian dollars, that's a whopping $9,000.

The whole space clocks in at 1,033 square feet, and there's only one bedroom. So you probably won't want to go halfsies with a roommate unless you're prepared to be all up in each other's space. But at least there's a second bathroom.

Given the apartment's trendy location at the corners of SoHo, Nolita and the Lower East Side, it only makes sense that it's decorated to let you live the hipster dream. There's even a top-of-the-line soundsystem installed.

The indie rocker purchased the third-floor condo in 2012 for $1.25 million USD, and he has been renting it out since 2015.

Apparently, it has previously been listed for as much as $8,000 USD a month.

Check out the rental listing here, where you can see more photos of the swanky pad.
