Published May 23, 2013Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto officially opened a decade ago this year, and the downtown hub is celebrating the milestone with a free concert series that will run from this month all the way until October.
The 10th anniversary programming actually includes two different music series. The Lunchtime Live! series takes place on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., and it includes performers like the Wilderness of Manitoba (September 16), Elizabeth Shepherd (September 23) and the Devin Cuddy Band (October 7).
Indie Fridays, on the other hand, take place on Fridays between 8 and 10 p.m. This lineup includes Plants and Animals (August 23), Cadence Weapon (August 30), the Pack A.D. (September 6), Saidah Baba Talibah with Ride The Tiger (August 2), Lindi Ortega with Red Wanting Blue (July 26), Danielle Duval (July 12), Samantha Martin and the Haggard (July 5) and more.
The programming also offers Tuesday film screenings at sunset. See the full 10th anniversary schedule below.
