Yo La Tengo Give Canada Some Love on Massive Fall Tour, Announce "Buy Now Get Early" Extras
As we just told you, legendary Hoboken, NJ indie rockers Yo La Tengo are on the verge of releasing Popular Songs. The record, their thirteenth, is due from Matador on September 8.

To celebrate/promote, the band have announced a ginormous tour that will eat up the majority of their autumn. The tour kicks off in Burlington, VT, on September 15 and will cover a major chunk of the continent before heading off to Europe in November. Along the way, the band will make Canadian stops in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.

Like so many other Matador releases, Yo La Tengo will also be participating in the Buy Now Get Early program for Popular Songs. If you sign up, you'll get an exclusive stream of the album on August 4, along with an extra song, a poster, a vinyl copy of the band's score to Adventureland and a physical copy of the album when the release date rolls around. Not too shabby!
