Yelawolf Reveals Plans for Two New Albums and a Mixtape with Big K.R.I.T.
Earlier this year, Alabama rap hero Yelawolf inked a deal with Interscope Records. The news came after the rapper, born Michael Wayne Atha, had made major waves with his Trunk Muzik mixtape. Now, he's announced that he will kick off his Interscope career with two albums and another mixtape.

According to AllHipHop, Yelawolf is planning to drop his major label debut with Trunk Muzik: 0-60 in November. From there, he will release another proper album called Radioactive in March. As if that weren't enough content, Yela will be pairing up with fellow 2010 breakout Big K.R.I.T. for a mixtape called Trunk Muzik Wuz Here: Country Cu$$inz, although a release date for that is unclear.

Yela also took time to explain how he maintains his artistic credibility despite the commercial pressures that come from major labels. "I don't do shit that I don't want to do," he told AllHipHop. "You can't make me. It's impossible, I'm too fucking stubborn. I let my team deal with that in-between, creative talk. But I get it. I'm not up there to do music that people don't understand. I'm up there to do music the world understands. I didn't join a major label to be an underground artist."

In addition to the flurry of new material, Yelawolf is currently in the middle of a North American tour with Wiz Khalifa. The run of dates includes one more Canadian stop in Vancouver on October 14. All shows are available below.
