Yeasayer

"Henrietta" (video)

Brooklyn's Yeasayer recently revealed "Henrietta," the first single off their impending "demented R&B album" Fragrant World, and have now followed the stream of the watery dance jam with an equally wavy video.

Seriously, though, we have no idea what's going on in the front end of this clip. The chopped-up, kaleidoscopic, iris-scorching neon nightmare looks like a Magic Eye painting gone wrong. The twisty collage may be showing a beach scene, or some trees, we really don't know. It's just spiralling too damn fast.

The chill mid-section, meanwhile, settles the vid into a lucid, sepia-toned shot of some crashing waves. That much we know for sure. Let it all seep into your consciousness in the stream below.

As previously reported, Fragrant World arrives August 21 through Secretly Canadian.
