Experimental Noh-wave crew Yamantaka // Sonic Titan recently let us in on some details for their next LP, and now it appears as if Ontario crowds may be able to get a sneak peek of that new material when the act head out for a quickie tour early next year.
The six-show schedule will take place over the course of a couple of weekends and will find the band playing six Ontario markets: Peterborough, Ottawa, Kingston, Guelph, Toronto and Hamilton. You can get the details on the where and when down below.
As previously reported, Yamantaka // Sonic Titan's next, as-yet-unannounced LP is primed to flip the script for the proggy art rock collective, with the band's Alaska B admitting that the band's onstage set-up has shifted since 2011's YT//ST.
"Our next record, we're taking the approach that we have all our gear set-up planned, our guitarist has a giant pedal board set up and we're just ready to do it," she revealed to Exclaim! "So it will affect our songwriting on the next record. I'll be playing with a different kit set-up playing with a different set of cymbals and mixing all the electronic elements."
