When Portland, OR dance pop duo YACHT introduced the world to their new website and belief system last month, we knew big things must have been afoot. Now, it looks as though we're getting the first taste of the group's forthcoming new album via a new track called "Dystopia (the Earth Is on Fire)."
We don't have a proper download or stream of the song just yet, but the DFA Records office debuted the song on their office record player in the below video. Opening with intense vocal harmonies that indirectly reference the Bloodhound Gang's "The Roof Is on Fire," the song turns into one of YACHT's most fully realized dance tracks yet.
