Never ones to slow down, Savannah, GA crust-metal behemoths Kylesa travel north of the border to play a pair of shows in support of their recently released Ultraviolet LP.

Montreal-based pop troubadour Mac DeMarco has followed up his recent jaunt opening for French art-rockers Phoenix by plotting his own set of dates across North America. Catch the charming tunesmith as he kicks off his summer tour at Halifax's Khyber Club.

Matt Mays

East Coast rocker Matt Mays brings tracks from Coyote and his extensive back catalogue to Halifax for a free hometown gig as part of the Red Bull Tour Bus concert series.

OBEY Convention

Weirdo outsider art festival the OBEY Convention is celebrating its sixth year of avant-garde punk rockers and off the grid house parties. Entering the fray will be Andrew Patterson, Cousins, the Ketamines and Pissed Jeans, among many others.

Postal Service

Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello bring their emo-tronica project the Postal Service to Toronto's Air Canada Centre to play hits from their early-aughts classic. Give Up, which is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary of soundtracking high school make-out sessions.

S.C.E.N.E. Music Festival

If there's one thing St. Catharines does best, it's creating hardcore bands. On June 9, throngs of teenagers from Southern Ontario and beyond will flood the sleepy Niagara community to hear performances from the likes of Comeback Kid, Obey the Brave, the Reason, and tons more, not to mention headlining slots from Tokyo Police Club and Hollerado.

Skeletonwitch

Road-worn thrash veterans Skeletonwitch hit up spots throughout the west coast and central Canada on their current North American tour with Anciients. Listen for new tracks from the band's as-yet-untitled fifth album, the follow-up to 2011's Forever Abomination.
