Dreamy Brit bedroom pop troupe the XX recently announced Coexist, the long-awaited follow-up to their 2009 self-titled debut, but didn't give many details beyond its September 11 release date through Young Turks. The band have now dropped both the full tracklisting for the record, as well as an official taste of the album via new single "Angels."
You can preview "Angels" -- a swoon-worthy blend of muted snare hits, minimalist guitar plunks and Romy Madley-Croft's hushed coos -- in the new age-styled video at the bottom of the page. As you can see in the tracklisting below, "Angels" opens the 11-song record.
The XX have yet to perform those previously announced Canadian dates in Toronto and Montreal, but the group have already announced another spate of shows that will keep them busy throughout the fall. While many of the gigs take place in the U.S., two additional Canuck performances will take place in Vancouver and Quebec City this October. You can check the details down below.
